This workshop will explore the history of politicizing and organizing workers from the early 1900s to now, considering union political action committees, the use of strikes, political alliances and other strategies. The workshop is impaired by a few things; a Winnipeg Free Press column suggesting private sector union members are being targeted successfully by Opposition Leader Poilievre, and inspired by reviewing, retired labour leader, Al Cerilli's papers and files from years of labour leadership and activism. I will share some of my tools for engaging and empowering people based on their lived experiences.

Will you come?
